South Lyon seeks Social Media Management Services
The purpose of this request for proposal (RFP) is to select a contractor who will effectively manage and enhance our social media presence, engage with our public audience, and increase awareness of Downtown South Lyon. The Pontiac Trail Construction project will take place from spring through fall of 2026, making timely communication through social media imperative. Selected contractor will also visit Downtown South Lyon weekly and attend special events to capture on-site content LIVE, this can be in coordination with the DDA for specific coverage. Additionally, user-generated content will be curated and shared to portray assets of Downtown South Lyon. The selected contractor will actively manage these social channels, engaging with comments as needed, while adhering to content moderation policies. The overarching goal of this contract is to boost Downtown South Lyon's visibility, business appeal, and community engagement. The selected contractor will curate and manage the channels but the South Lyon DDA has final approval of the posts and moderation on all channels. The budget allocated for contract is $2000/month which includes all selected contractor’s fees for time, strategy, content creation, management, scheduling, engagement, photography, video, travel, meetings, reporting and cost for ad spends.
