Michigan Downtown Association Honors 2025 Award Recipients for Excellence in Downtown Development
ROCHESTER, Mich. — November 12, 2025 — The Michigan Downtown Association (MDA) has recognized several Michigan downtown management organizations, directors, and stakeholders for their outstanding efforts in economic development, placemaking, and community revitalization. The honors were presented during the MDA’s Annual Conference, held earlier this month in downtown Rochester, Michigan.
Each year, the MDA celebrates communities, organizations, individuals, and businesses across the state for their exemplary work in downtown management and development. The Annual Awards spotlight the people and projects that play a vital role in strengthening local economies, enhancing community life, and fostering small business growth.
“This year’s recipients exemplify the tremendous dedication and forward thinking it takes to create vibrant downtowns,” said Dana Walker, Executive Director of the Michigan Downtown Association. “Creating and maintaining a strong downtown requires hard work, collaboration, planning, and above all, a deep commitment to community.”
