Bay City DDA Executive Leadership

The Bay City Downtown Development Authority (DDA) is seeking qualified candidates to provide contracted executive leadership in support of the district’s mission to drive strategic capital investment and economic development in Downtown Bay City, Michigan.
Scope of Work:

The selected contractor will oversee district operations, manage infrastructure and parking systems, facilitate investment support, and align governance efforts across multiple stakeholder groups. Additional responsibilities include long-term strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, and compliance with Michigan’s Public Act 57, OMA, and FOIA.
Contract Terms:

• 2-year agreement, 0.5–0.75 FTE
• Compensation negotiable based on qualifications
• Independent contractor status required
• Insurance and compliance obligations apply
